The Freisleben is more than just a hotel. It is our home, a project that has been close to our hearts for four generations and a place where hospitality and family have been lived for decades.

It all began in the 1980s, when Wilfried and Sibylle Freisleben founded their small inn on the edge of the forest in St. Anton with a lot of courage and even more passion. Their wish: to create a house that is more than just accommodation – a place where people arrive and feel at home straight away.

With every year, with every guest and every new idea, our hotel has grown and so has our family.

In 2008, daughter Daniela took over the helm together with her husband Norbert. Since then, both have continued the family tradition with heart, commitment and new impulses. In everyday life, they combine the tried and tested with fresh ideas – so Freisleben remains a lively place that continues to develop while retaining its charm.

The next generation joined the company with daughter Nathalie. Together with her father Norbert, she adds creative touches and new inspirations, particularly in the kitchen, without losing sight of her roots and regional values. Son Gabriel and Michi, Nathalie’s partner, soon followed. With their easy-going manner, openness and constant new ideas, they also enrich our house and make it a great place to be.

We experienced a special moment in December 2021 when Amalia, the daughter of Nathalie and Michi, became the fourth generation to move into Freisleben. We are already looking forward to the ideas and dreams she will one day contribute.

Our house continues to grow – driven by a sense of community, mutual trust and the desire to give our guests a real temporary home. Each generation brings its own signature, values and vision for the future. This is precisely what creates the special atmosphere that our guests appreciate so much: A place where you arrive and feel welcome, as if you were part of a big family.
